- First Generation Student (from a family with a very low economic status)
Education: Top 75 Liberal Arts Colleges
- Bachelors in Economics with a Minor in Physics
- Expected GPA when applying: 3.80
- Studied abroad in Germany for a semester (ended early due to Covid-19)
GMAT: 730 (q50 v38 IR8 AWA5) (Plan on retaking with a goal of 750)
Work/Internship Experience: N/A - Would like to go into the tech industry and I am currently taking intro courses on Computer Science and Electronics to aid in this goal
Leadership Activities:
Civic Leader for Responding to Covid-19 and Natural Disasters in my college's community

I think the question was to do a profile eval? It's pretty hard to do that from these forms, as so much of what I might want to know isn't represented by a list of pretty sparsely described facts, but your GMAT and GPA look good, and accomplishing all that's on your list after coming from a very low socioeconomic background might hint at personal strength and resilience. I think I'd want to know more about your leadership and what you might want to do exactly in tech, and how the deferred programs will elevate/help your plans... but you seem to have the basic requirements needed, and I'd encourage you to give it a shot! These programs are highly selective and unpredictable in admissions at times, but they don't at all harm your future chances if they don't work out, and from what I understand, the eventual success rate of applicants is much higher than the norm. I'd go for it!
