Hi - I'm targeting H/S/W and wanted to get thoughts on applying Round 1 versus Round 2.
Born and raised in the US. First-gen/low-income. Female Asian American.
Went to a top three liberal arts college (Williams / Amherst / Pomona). 3.6 GPA, majored in Economics.
Graduated and did 2 years in bulge bracket IB and now in PE (climate-focused). Would have 5 years of experience at time of matriculation
GMAT 700 (48Q, 37V, IR4, AWA6).
My question is do I apply Round 1 coming from an overrepresented group (private equity) or wait until Round 2 and try to increase GMAT score? If the latter, what's a more decent score? 730+? I've also already been working on essays and other parts of application and am in a position to submit barring GMAT.
Thanks for any thoughts.
