Because you have highly limited essay space in this year's Wharton EMBA application, the recommendations are of greater importance. The rec form allows your writer to submit up to 1750 words! That is far more than the 350 words you have in your one required Wharton EMBA essay question. So, make sure to maximize the impact of the recommendation. Help your rec writer to weave in important professional stories or personal/extracurricular background information that you cannot get into your online application.
Unlike most past years, this year’s recommendation form does not offer an option for your writer to upload a PDF, so the responses should be input directly into the online recommendation fields. Ideally, your writer should prepare their responses in a Word document so they can see and correct any typos, maximize the word count, and save a copy.

This year’s Wharton EMBA recommendation form is now available for recommendation writers. When you fill in the name and email address on your Wharton EMBA application form, Wharton’s system will send a link to your rec writer, where they will gain access to their online recommendation form.
