Hi,
I am 37 years of age, already has an MS in Electrical Engineering and have been working in the IT industry in US for the past 12 years. I am currently in a Technical Sales role and my title is Senior Systems Engineer. I am very much interested in doing an MBA at this point of my career but need some guidance on whether I should go for an Executive MBA or a Part-Time MBA program. I believe my age & experience is more suited for an Executive MBA but what I am not sure is whether my current role / title is also suited for such a program since I don't have much of a management level experience. I am looking at schools like UNC and Georgetown.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I think emba would be better for you (emba is specifically designed for older applicants). I would ask the admissions directly and see what they recommend. This a very valid question.

You seem well suited for an executive program. Simply put, your peer group will be much more like yourself in the EMBA program. Do not worry about your title and job responsibilities -- worry more about the quality of your application and how you present your background and goals.
