Would it be worthy to do an MBA in colleges like Macquarie business school, australia and Monash university, australia?

Hey vsk321 - "worthy" is a tricky question - it's like beauty, in the eye of the beholder and all that. Both of those schools are well regarded in Australia, and it would likely be MUCH less expensive, if you're from that part of the world, for you to do that instead of going to an international MBA program. But the question comes down to YOU - your background, your goals - and you didn't give even a hint for that. So anyone who would try to do justice to this question would need to know a lot more. I am from India.I am a mechanical engineer and I have a 3yr full time work experience in an automobile R&D as an engineer.Though my designation says that I am an engineer,there is a lot of management involved in it.I am confident enough that I could become a better administrator.So,I have decided to pursue my MBA.I gave my gmat this year and for some reason i couldnt give my best and I ended up with a mere 550 with awa 5.0.I am looking for alternative colleges which would give me a very good career in the administration. I was told that these colleges in australia would give me what I want. I want to work there for 1yr after my MBA and want to get back to my family in India.I need some suggestion on this.

@vsk321, there are plenty of good business schools in the world; selecting one depends on many factors including the type of career you want after your studies, where you want to work, and attributes of the school itself. We don't have extensive experience with these two Australian schools but they are both well respected. Neither one seems require a GMAT score for admission so your 550 score is immaterial in this case. They do each have specific requirements for professional work experience so you may want to reach out to them to see if you're a fit. Local job opportunities for international graduates often depend on the country's laws and visa regulations so you should inquire about all that along with the questions about admissions to the schools.
