Hi,
I will be graduating from my MSc program in Molecular Genetics next year, and I am interested in pursuing a MBA with a Health Management Specialization. I worked as a research Assistant for 1 year during my undergrad, but other then that I do not have any relevant work experience.
Would it be better for me to:
1) Attempt to find a position in the health care field (research associate/lab technician) to complete the 2 year work experience required for Ivey, Schuilch or Rotman?
Schuilch accepts relevant life experiences ex MSc as work experience, would this apply to my case?
or
2) Apply to the DeGroote MBA Co-op program right after I am done my MSc. No previous work experience required, will gain experience during the Co-op terms.
Also what type of factors should I be considering when undertaking the decision?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Daria
