Hi guys!
This is probably one of the more difficult decisions i had to make and hope people on this forum can give me some guidance.
Background: I worked at BB out of college doing internal accounting for about 4 month. Then transitioned to a boutique fixed income shop and did trading and credit analysis for the next 3+ years. In the meantime, passed all three levels of the CFA exam.
Post-MBA: I still want to stay in finance and would like to either aim for a IBD at a BB or move to a bigger buy- side firm (think PIMPCO)
I understand the drawback of a PT program and lack of internship opportunities, but after talking to some Booth PT students, career switching is pretty common and not too hard.
I know this decision would be alot easier if I wanted to switch to consulting post mBA....
Any advice would be helpful, THANKS!
