Hi guys,
New to the forum so be gentle on me. I've been accepted to Rotman MBA and also to Haskayne MBA for fall 2014. I have a little shy of 4 years corp finance experience working in a variety of areas – most recently treasury. I’m looking to break into a capital markets type role post MBA. Because I am a career switcher and don’t have any investment banking or equity experience I’m guessing a relevant internship is important. Could anyone offer a little insight as to how competitive the investment banking or capital market internships are at either school? Also, anyone know how the Rotman network is in Calgary? The end game is to land a gig on an energy desk in Calgary or something along those lines.

Welcome to GMAT Club and thanks for your question - I think it may be best answered in the Rotman forum by one of the current students or you may want to reach out to the school directly to ask to be connected with one of the current students.
My guess is that you will have a better chance with Rotman but that's a bit prejudiced by the fact that I have not heard about the other program you mentioned... Pardon the ignorance.
