If you are a career switcher, you need the FT. It will be hard to do while enrolled in a PT program.
However, don't think that Cox will guarantee and deliver you internship opportunities. They will provide some options on an internal site or some recommendations but those will not be slated for Cox only or only for you - you will have to compete with folks from other schools and those who already would have had experience in the field/area.
The FT and PT programs are different animals. They have different pros and cons (discussed a number of times) and you are comparing apples and oranges with different costs, time commitments, and purposes.... it should be easier to choose usually as opposed to picking UCLA PT vs. USC PT vs Ross PT.
P.S. How could you do an internship in a PT program? Between Classes and a Job - are you planning to be in a PT program and not working?
