Hello All,

I am an Indian IT guy with 4 years experience.
I have admits from Eller (University of Arizona) and George Washington Univ. (D.C) both with hefty scholarships.
I know location wise D.C beats Tucson, Arizona.
However, Eller is a notch higher in rankings (US News 44 vs 56)

Is there anyone here who is graduating from either of these 2 schools?
Or anyone worth their salt please help me make a decision?

Hi V1vamsi,

I have just been admitted to GW with full-scholarship, but not yet started my MBA journey there yet, so I cannot speak for the alumni nor the current students. However, I have researched on the same topic you were asking, and here are the links you may refer:

https://business.gwu.edu/careercenter/em ... s_2013.pdf for MBA grads in 2013, and more historical data can be found here https://business.gwu.edu/careercenter/em ... istics.cfm

Hope this helps. :)

Eller is ranked 5th for management information systems, which may be a boost to your career seeing your background in IT. Also, I will add that I have lived in Tucson for the past 9 years, and I am just getting ready to move for bschool myself. I have enjoyed my stay here. It is a much nicer Arizona city than Phoenix, IMO. Much more natural beauty and less congested than Phoenix, but still a bustling town. In addition to the U of A, there is a large air force base and numerous defense contractors (Raytheon, for example) that have operations in town, so the economy does not just revolve around the university. The cost of living is great, too. I purchased a house in 2010: 1700 sq. ft. for $900 per month mortgage, including taxes and insurance. That is half of an apartment in DC.
