Hello All,
I am an Indian IT guy with 4 years experience.
I have admits from Eller (University of Arizona) and George Washington Univ. (D.C) both with hefty scholarships.
I know location wise D.C beats Tucson, Arizona.
However, Eller is a notch higher in rankings (US News 44 vs 56)
Is there anyone here who is graduating from either of these 2 schools?
Or anyone worth their salt please help me make a decision?

Congratulations on getting an admit from Eller and GWU. As you've said, location wise D.C beats Tuscon, but you also need to to consider the fact that cost of living is higher in D.C when compared to Arizona. Eller might be higher on US News rankings, but Financial times ranks GWU higher than Eller(GWU is 99 whereas Eller does not appear in top 100). Having said all this, i think you need to look at your post-mba goals and then make a decision. See which school can better help you reach your goals and go to that school.

I am not sure about the FT Rankings, but seeing the US News 2015 Rankings the gap between Eller and GWU has really widened (48 vs 65). The location of D.C could be as good as it is, but i now feel 20 ranks is too much of a compromise.
I am looking at a career as an IT Consultant. I am really looking forward to speak to some current/former students from these schools to get an idea about their specialties.
Please chip in if you have any info about this.
