Hi I am currently an executive marketing manager of oil and power gas based company called Aker Solutions. Most of my friends and family members are suggesting me to complete my MBA. Honestly, I am pretty happy where I am right now but looking at the current market trends even I am thinking of pursuing my MBA as you never know when a company wants only their top qualified employees and kicks the rest of them out. I have been a travel enthusiast all my life and hence I was thinking of doing my MBA from abroad, in a new city. I feel this is the only time to explore different cultures and people and later once I start working again I won’t have this opportunity but are there any colleges which have MBA programs designed for people like me?

If you are into travelling you should apply to colleges which provide exchange programs. It is exactly a kind of course which you would love to pursue.

I think you are talking about S P Jain School of global management. They don’t have an exchange program in fact they conduct each semester in a different city like Singapore, Dubai etc. I believe that colleges like these would be appropriate for you.

Hi, I’m currently in my final year of school and have started looking at what graduation I would like to do after. I am in the commerce stream and find that a BBA course would be good for me. I would preferably like to go abroad and have started researching for colleges in the US and UK. However, almost every day there Is an ad in the newspaper for colleges offering BBA courses in countries like Australia, Singapore, and the Middle East. Could someone please tell me how the colleges are in those countries and if the placements are any good?

Hey Rishabh, I’m a recent graduate and have done my BBA from Singapore. Initially I too was thinking of doing my BBA in the US or UK but after researching found that it was much more convenient to do it closer by. There are many reputed colleges and I feel the placements are also as good if not better. Nowadays, getting a job in the US or UK are getting increasingly difficult because of the work visa restrictions. I would recommend doing it from somewhere else.

As far as I know, in Singapore, NUS, MDIS and SP Jain School of Global Management are good and offer good placements. Australia & Dubai also have some reputed colleges which you could look into.

Hi,

Your profile is very strong with around 8 years of experience and 740 GMAT. The only constrain is Funding your education for US location.

We would recommend the following:

1. Look for a cosigner in USA in your own blood relation to sponsor your education
2.Some Universities in US also help in funding and becoming a consignor (Kellogg , Chapel Hill , Indiana Bloomington) under the terms and conditions depending on student
3.You can even try to explore in other countries like UK , Europe , Asian regions as your profile is good and only financial constrain is there
4.Just for a rough idea one year expense of USA is around 28-55 Lac per year including the living expense

Let us know if you would have any further queries and we would be happy to guide.
