Hi All,
I'm doing my GMAT in one month and targeted Singapore and Hong Kong as my ideal destinations for an MBA.
My profile:
29y half Italian half Spanish (both Native Languages)
4+ exp in consultancy in different companies/enviornments (2,5 in Italy mostly in management consulting plus 2 in London in Trading & Risk Management)
I have quite good international exposure as my company is very diversified (I have been working with colleagues from many parts of the world) and my two main projects have been spread around Italy/UK/Belgium (first project), UK/Germany/US (current project).
In terms of managin experience I'm currently managing a 4 people team responsabile for all Back Office functions for an Energy Trading company.
GMAT will be done 22nd December I target 660-690
Having said so, my dream b-school would be INSEAD (Singapore campus) followed by NUS, NANYANG (in Singapore) and HKU, HKUST (in HK).
Having worked in Energy Field I would target Singapore as it's increasing is importance as Energy Hub (expecially for LNG related stuff) but I'm concerned about difficulties in landing a job there (tried multiple times applying never got a reply).
Does someone have a view on the Singaporean job market? I undertsand INSEAD would be a great choice regardless, but maybe the other schools are not that great if you try get a job outside Singapore/HK
Any input welcome!
Stefano
