Admitted to both programs, and having a tough time deciding. I received a bit of financial aid from both, so the costs of attending (including travel) are about the same, with Kellogg edging slightly ahead due to the commute from the west coast.
I'm a little worried about how small the Kellogg cohort is, from the perspective of wanting to network and connect with other students. With only ~40 students and 1/3 of them coming from Latin America, there likely will only be a couple from the bay area. Duke's class is much bigger, and has pretty significant California representation, which could be more helpful.
But, Duke's program skews younger and I'd be on the older side, and I think I might 'fit' better with the cohort at Kellogg. I've met students at both, and everyone had very positive things to say about the programs.
Any advice?
