Hi,
I appeared for GMAT this week and scored 640 (Q49 V28). My background: I am an indian, have done Bachelors in Engg. and have around 9.8 years of experience in IT field. Currently working in CIO office of an Swiss based Company. I have spent 5 years in USA for Fortune 500 Clients.
I am targeting top Canadian Business Schools such as Rotman, Queen and Schulich.
Now I have 2 options :
1> In spite of knowing that my GMAT score is low as compared to average GMAT score of these business schools, I apply in round 2 (R2).
2> Reappear in Gmat and Apply to these schools in Round 3 (R3) as I am sure that If I reappear in GMAT, I would get 700 + score.
Now I want to evaluate these options based on these factors:
Round Seats Probability of get accepted Scholarship (based on GMAT)
R2 High Do not know as GMAT = 640. May be Less I doubt as GMAT score is Low
R3 Low High as in second attempt, GMAT score will be High Still doubt as scholarship amount may not last till this round.

Is there a reason for rushing your applications now? if not, then redo the gmat and apply to Rotman in 2015
