Come to Cornell!!!

Obviously my view is biased and so take note of that as I propose these few points to support my conclusion:
1. Its proximity and overall alumni network likely has much stronger ties in NYC and Boston, where you are looking to explore
2. Its a place that is new and somewhat different from NC. Most people only get 1 MBA, you might as well make it as new and exciting as possible

3. They offered you money!!!
Lastly, I will say that the opportunities for you to do what you want to do (consulting) is certainly there. Especially if they've offered you scholarship (indicates you are likely a fairly strong candidate overall). Most of the big firms visit both schools and so I'd say the largest factor determining your success in your goals for business school is your own efforts and preparation. I can't say much about UNC's program for preparing aspiring consultants, but I can say that Johnson's is very comprehensive and encompassing. I can also say that because of the community and collaborative atmosphere, you will have help from classmates every step of the way.
Anyways, good luck with the decision, you really can't go wrong either way, but I hope to see you around next year!
