Dear fellow applicants, current MBA students and admissions consultants,
I have been admitted to McDonough, Foster and Tepper. I have read as much as I can on these programs, visited each campus, met with current and prospective students and have thoroughly fallen in love with each. I wish I could attend them all but unfortunately I can’t. How do I decide which to attend? I plan to attend welcome weekends and to continue speaking with students, alums and career centers but also would like to hear thoughts from other applicants who have also been studying MBA programs a lot lately.
First a bit about what I’m looking for. I have a passion for public policy and public sector consulting at a top consulting firm would be my first choice of career. Beyond that, I do enjoy consulting and would be interested in private sector consulting as a second option. Lastly, I would also be open to non-profit work or general management. Finance and marketing are definitely not for me though.
