Hello everyone,
I just took the GMAT and got a 740. To be honest, I was not expecting such a score. I was considering (and am still considering) a master in entrepreneurship at the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM). I honestly think it is a perfect college for me but many of my friends are telling me to apply to "better" colleges. When they say "better", I think they are just thinking about recognition. Since I want to become an entrepreneur, I do not really care about having a degree from a famous college. But what I do want is to get the best education in order to achieve my goals. I'm also open to the idea to work for consultancy firms for a few years. What do you think I should do? If you think I should try to apply to other colleges, could you tell me which ones and why? Also (very important), it is already a little bit late in the admission process of most business schools. So please take that into account.
A litte bit more background information about me. I was born in Fontainebleau (France) but moved to Brussels (Belgium) when I was very little. I have the Belgian nationality. After high school, I took a gap year. I went to Park City (Utah, USA) for 5 months and then to Flanders (Belgium) for 5 months. I fluently speak French, English and Dutch. I graduated as a bachelor student in political science last year and I am going to graduate as a bachelor student in business engineering in a few months. I did not get very high grades. I would say it corresponds to a B in the US system. But since I was doing a double degree, I think it could be justified. I was also very active as a student. For instance, I was in my college team for the NMUN.
If you could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.
Alexandre
