Hello all,
I am currently trying to decide on which FTMBA program to attend. I plan on working within real estate/finance after completing my degree. Cost is not really an issue as both programs are about the same when compared side by side for me (I know TAMU's program is 1.5 years, not 2). I cannot, however, gauge how one program is that much different from the other in terms of job placement/prestige/alumni. I know both have strong alumni followings within TX (which is where I plan on staying after school for the time being). I am also curious as to how TAMU is ranked so much higher than SMU in some surveys based on the data I have seen regarding job placement, salaries, etc. If anyone can speak to the strengths and weaknesses (recruiting, student body, specialties, etc) of either of the programs based on any information/experiences they have, it would be appreciated.
