I have two offers for b-school. One is for a part-time MBA (27-33 months), and the other is for a one-year program at ESSEC.
One of my concerns is the work demand of a one-year intensive program. Granted it would be full-time student, but it looks like you'd be taking up to eight classes in one three-month term. As a full-time undergrad, I had four classes per quarter, and high school had about six classes at a time. Eight grad-level courses in three months..?
I'd hate to go all the way out there just to find out I went way in over my head. Is anyone able to speak for the demands of the program, or one-year intensives in general? How do you balance the courseload, and the work/life balance in general? How are the class schedules organized?
