Looked through a lot of posts and forums online and have personally chatted with alumni and current students from both schools - But I cannot make up my mind because it seems like these two choices are more or less on par with each other.
To give some more contextual information:
I plan to pursue my MBA primarily to step into Entrepreneurship and both these schools have excellent incubator programs. Since startups and ventures are not a predictable outcome - I do have a Plan B which would be an extension of my current role working in Product Management with a Tech firm. From that perspective - again both schools have good recruitment opportunities except that Seattle is a better location compared to Pittsburgh. I received a small scholarship from Tepper but it is not significant considering the tuition for Foster is half as much as Tepper (although I am not considering tuition as a huge factor at this point)
I am completely open to relocation to either city as I have a flexible job and I work from home.
From personal experience I feel CMU does have a brand established but honestly I doubt it matters with regards to an MBA.
I'd love to receive suggestions and feedback from the community and help me solidify my decision. Or even other areas I have failed to consider that maybe helpful? I have been getting biased opinions and would appreciate a holistic view on the two schools.
