Looking to pursue a masters in finance and have been admitted to university of Rochester and awaiting results from university of Melbourne. But if I get admitted I won’t have much time to decide as the enrolment date for Rochester is approaching soon. Can anyone help me with the comparison ?

Is location a factor for you? You applied to two programs on the other ends of the world from each other so I'm assuming there were specific reasons for both. Would you prefer to work in the US or AUS post grad school?

I don’t mind either countries. I applied to these countries as they’re student friendly and also cover my other needs (friends & family there, visa etc.)

Hopefully you get a better answer as I don't know finance or too much on Rochester but I'm here in Australia and can tell you UM is considered one of the best if not best programs in the country. So from a prestige factor UM probably wins on the Oceanic front.

Imagine it depends on the job but certainly seems like we're doing well here in regards to employment. Being from the US I hadn't heard of UM but if with these programs you're probably best staying in the city anyway, so a lot of it will come down to which city you prefer.
