Congratulations! Great job getting into both programs with a scholarship.
The two schools have historically been ranked quite similarly though Darden has enjoyed more favorable rankings and even touched the TOP 10 a few years ago.
https://gmatclub.com/forum/mba-rankings ... ml#p770991Historically Darden has been an IB school until IB became less sexy and so it is finance & consulting, kind of like everyone else in the top 15. The part that makes Darden stand out is obviously their case method. Some swear by it, some swear at it. Definitely a different way of approaching course work and I can see it making a difference in choice.
As to Anderson, you will probably be better plugged in and connected in LA than in Charlottesville and better setup for networking and building your venture. At the same time, Anderson is a regional school and plays into SoCal and a bit of bay area market but the competition from Haas and GSB is stiff and large tech companies recruit all over the place and would hire someone with the right background rather than the right MBA. I don't think Anderson automatically translates into tech. I like this discussion about Anderson vs. Darden:
