Hi guys,
I have been admitted to these Bschools in Norway: Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and BI Norwegian Business School. Programmes I have been admitted to are:
• NHH: MSc in Economics and Business Administration (NHH lets its students choose their specialization: I would major in Finance)
• BI: MSc in Business, major in Finance with QTEM masters network
Pros of each Bschool:
• NHH: traditionally seen as the best Norwegian business school by Norwegians, member of CEMS, flexible in courses students can choose, zero tuition fee, possible exchange studies at some prestigious schools (HEC Paris, Cornell, SSE, McGill, Bocconi, etc.)
• BI: young and ambitious, triply accredited school, read somewhere that it has a better brand name outside Norway. Also, QTEM students have to go on exchange in two different universities/schools (Warwick, EDHEC, HEC Montréal, Waseda, Dauphine, etc.) and QTEM has partnerships with companies like Deloitte, EY and McKinsey for internships. Possible to choose what courses to attend (to a certain extent)
I'm having trouble making a decision since NHH is seen as the best business school in Norway by Norwegians (so may be easier to get a job there after graduation), but the QTEM at BI seems to offer good opportunities in Norway and abroad too (exchange, internships). Also, NHH is completely free whereas BI costs approximately €10.000/year.
Some background information:
• French citizen, 22 yo
• BSc in Economics and Management
• French, English, Spanish and Italian spoken (notions of Swedish, ready to learn Norwegian)
What do you guys think???

PS: My objective is to work in investment management or financial consulting. Maybe in the Nordics at the beginning but not necessarily.
