Hi everyone. I know this is for people already admitted, but I'm not sure where else to post. I'm applying to Kelley Online for Fall of '18 and after getting my scores (710, Q51, V38) I'm wondering if I should try for McDonough Evening. If I did, I would probably have to wait for Fall '19 because the date is in a few days. I'm already making a good salary at my job now and can't afford to stop to go full time. Would the benefits of an in-person program outweigh the costs? It would be about $115K versus $67K. I'm interested in potentially making a career change but I don't know that for certain. Any insight would be great.

It somewhat depends on your plans for career. If you are planning to stay with your current employer or within your industry, then Online can do the trick of getting a checkmark on your resume. It would also be a lot easier is my guess if you have a family. At the same time if you want to leverage a network around you in DC area, GW may be a more attractive choice. Georgetown has a strong name there. I have known a number of people who have gone to work with one or two of their classmates or for one or two of them, esp true with EMBA programs.
