Hello all,
I am at a bit of a quandary. This is for EMBA programs only. Your time is much appreciated.
Embarking on a new journey in 2019. I have received soft offers from the following EMBA programs.
* Singapore Management University
* Southern Methodist University
* UCLA/NUS Joint Program
Despite two of them having the same initials they all appear to be starkly different programs. SMU (Singapore) and UCLA/NUS are both shorter on the program timeline which appeals to me substantially. I am looking to leave my industry (tech) soon after a pending acquisition and am looking into various pivots. Where I ultimately would like to wind up is in venture philanthropy. Out of these Universities which would appeal more strongly to you? And why?
Also, are internships ever available in regards to EMBA students? I cannot find resources on this topic. Literature regarding mid career shifts for senior personnel seems to be few and far between regarding recruiting/job offers for EMBAs.
Thank you for your time,
CPS
