Hi All - Wanted to provide a brief update since making the decision to ultimately attend Anderson. I have 0 regrets about my choice. Anderson has been a wonderful experience thus far, and although it's tough to truly evaluate the program without knowing what the full in-person experience is like, I have been pretty blown away by Anderson's pivot to this temporary environment and (more importantly) its ability to work with the students on shaping the experience as we go and incorporate feedback on what's working/not working during these times. I know that many of you won't have this issue next year when we are (knock on wood) back to normal, but being in LA and having access to many outdoor activities has been a blessing in the past 3-4 months.
Looking back, I believe the decision to choose against Ross and Tepper was the right one -- for me. You can get so sucked into reading forum posts on this site and others about which school is better, etc. ...but at the end of the day, if you know what you want out of b-school and there's an opportunity to save 10s of thousands by attending a school like Anderson instead of Ross or Tepper, it's just not worth putting that much more of a financial burden on your future self. If your goal is to work at Amazon, and you can get there by attending a school like Andrson AND save 60-70k, do it. In 2-3 years no one is going to care about where you went to business school if you now have an MBA and Amazon on your resume. At that point, you'll have to ask yourself, "was is it worth 70k plus interest to have this brand on my resume?"
