I am looking to switch into the tech industry post-MBA, and I intend to work in Canada. I know that McGill has a stronger school brand but the program doesn't seem to rank as good as IESE. I have been told that IESE better prepares you for your career. Thanks everyone in advance.
Edit: I'm Canadian and almost all of my work experience has been in Canada. No need for work visa nor PR.

Congrats on your Admits!
I would recommend for you to study in the country you plan to be in the long term, esp if you do not have a PR/Work permit. For working in CA the key would be your work experience that you can showcase on your resume in addition to your MBA. As to the IESE and McGill, IESE has more visibility worldwide, but I feel in Canada, you would have more recognition from McGill as few people know IESE or know much about it and it does not have much of an alum network.
P.S. I would not worry too much about which program prepares you better for a career.... If you can't find a job, there is no career to begin with

What BB suggested is absolutely correct. Considering that you only want to work in Canada, McGill should be the obvious choice because of its presence and reputation in Canada. You will have better networking opportunities, ease in finding an employment, ease to get a permanent residency/work permit, etc.
If you compare with McGill with IESE (leaving geographical aspect), IESE will be an obvious choice not only in ranking but also in brand, reputation, curriculum, alumni network, etc. IESE will be good if you plan to settle in Europe or in South America to some extent.
