Hello,
I am writing a post to ask which B school to choose. Here's my background:
-International Student from Asia
-Went to college in the U.S.
-5 Years of Consulting in New York
-1 Year of Investment Banking in New York
-Currently in start-up
Future Goal
-MC or Tech (I would say currently 30% vs 70%)
-I don't have a geographical preference after graduation, but I am considering moving back to the U.S.
My priority
-Brand Name
-Strong Network (both in Asia and the U.S)
.
.
.
-Money (matter less)
My question
-Given I don't have the U.S citizenship, I am not sure how hard it may be to come back to the U.S. if I'd like to work there again. I have 1.2 years left on my H1B
-How is the alumni network in both schools in the U.S compared to in Asia? How strong is the network?
-Will a visa sponsor be given to international students to work for MBB in Europe (U.K. or elsewhere)
-If I end up getting a job in consulting, is the promotion to partner also dependent on which b-school you graduated from?
I am looking for as many perspectives as possible. Thanks!
