Hello, everyone!
I have a difficult decision to make and I would greatly appreciate your input! Thank you very much in advance!
Admitted:
Vanderbilt Owen - ~Full-ride + Forté Fellowship
Georgetown McDonough - no $
Waitlisted:
Cornell Johnson
I am trying to decide between Vanderbilt (~Full-ride + Forté Fellowship) and Georgetown (no $), try to get off the Cornell Waitlist, or reapply next year.
About me:
Early 30's, European/U.S. Permanent Resident (by the time I matriculate), 1 Master Degree from an Ivy League, currently working in RE.
Originally, I was looking to get into Real Estate Investment Banking but considering my age, I am less risk-averse and I am open to more possibilities. I am interested in Finance, Strategy, Real Estate, and Marketing. In the very long-term, I am planning on running for a political office. For now, I am trying to get a solid business education because I don't have that background. I am not getting any sponsorships from family/ organizations, etc. I have savings which I will use for living but besides that I will have to take a loan to pay for my tuition. Also, I don't think this will be my last degree as I am considering a PhD or Executive Master's to further specialize. I will be happy living in Nashville or D.C. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
