Hello,
I recently got accepted to both, ESMT's and Frankfurt's Masters in Management Program. However, I am unable to decide which one to pick and whether to even pursue the MIM in Germany because of my current work experience.
I have 9 months of experience of working in an MNC as a java developer and have a background in Engineering. However, MIM seemed like the best way to change the direction of my career. I am interested in management and want to focus more on brand management or consulting. However, I am afraid that because of not having enough relevant experience, I might not be able to land up with a job in Germany. Is this true? I wish to settle there and MIM in both of these institutions is quite expensive. So, it is a bug investment at the end of the day.
Will it be worth it with my background? And if it is, which program would suggest out of these two? What is the job market like for MIM graduates in Germany?
I wish to intern for at least a year. ESMT offers only semester for internships. However, Frankfurt has a 3-day teaching system and the classes are held on the, fri, sat, which enables students to intern side by side and support themselves throughout their studies. Should I consider this as well?
Thanks a lot in advance. I will really appreciate any advice that you have.
