Congratulations on your admits! I have never really cared for Johnson but I cannot really give a reason why. I just never have clicked with anything Cornell. 🤷🏻♂️
I too had been admitted to Fuqua and Stern, although my program was the MS in Quantitative Management. There were a few deciding factors that pushed me to pursue my degree at Fuqua.
1) I had a personal connection with a Fuqua alum who sits on the Board of Visitors and is the President and CEO of a multi-billion dollar company (retail).
2) I much preferred the curriculum and the structure of my specific program. The curriculum at Fuqua for my program was much more quantitative than Stern.
3) I fell in love with Team Fuqua and could see how it transcended throughout Fuqua as a whole, not just within specific programs. Staying on the team topic, I have (3) other individuals on my team and every group project is completed with those members. This has been amazing for networking and feeling apart of the community.
4) Desired location played a role and since I intend on moving to the Dallas, and leveraging the Fuqua community, it made more sense. Stern has a very heavy presence in New York but no so much in the South/Southwest part of the United States.
In deciding on an EMBA, I’d look at the curriculum/faculty, your desired location that you wish to leverage your networking in, and the brand you wish to have on your resume/cv.
Congrats again and do let us know what you decide!
