Thanks Andrew! While I understand I can certainly find people counting ALL of Duke University's grad schools who are interested in what I am interested in, I wanted to ask specifically about their MBA program because it is so close-knit and because it is only 400ish people. But your answer does put me at ease a bit.
Well, if you decided that your cohort were a bunch of blue-faced *#^&*, you could always seek solace elsewhere. Still, even 1 in 100 would be pretty rare, right? I am nearly positive that someone else there would find common ground with you. The tapestry is only as tight-knit as the pieces that make it up, you know?

By the way, I had a client who was admitted to Fuqua and another program, an Ivy program, that he wanted to attend instead. But the Ivy school had not offered him any scholarship money. So he leveraged his scholarship offer from Duke to get a partial scholarship from his first choice, and it worked out. You never know where these things may lead.

Good luck.

- Andrew
