Hi, everyone!
I have recently been admitted to both Simon and Carroll for Accounting. Post-graduation, I plan to sit for the CPA and pursue a career in public accounting. I found a few topics from a few years back discussing Simon vs Carroll but I'm not sure how applicable they are to me since they were different discussing a different field and my situation is a little different.
From what I can tell, the big pro of Simon is the STEM-designated program. However, I'm not really sure how beneficial it would be for me as a US Citizen. Would it particularly stand out to employers? I should also mention that I received a scholarship from Simon but I am prioritizing my future prospects and education over financials.
Carroll has a locational edge with Boston being a better hub for networking and opportunities. However, another thread mentioned something about potentially having to sign saying that they are not responsible for placements. Could anyone elaborate more on that?
I think I am leaning more towards Carroll but further insight is definitely welcome!
