Well... there is no silver lining with either program really. I can definitely see John Molson being in a more engaging setting of Montreal with more startup opportunities but getting residency in Quebec requires French proficiency. How is your French? Though don't quote me as I don't know a whole lot about the CA residency expectations - i just saw it has changed somewhat and increased its quota so perhaps a good choice to be going to Canada.
UBC is in Vancouver which does not have any great industry really... and is dominated by Asian wealth-related focus. The real estate prices are nuts but that's due to the fierce competition from China residents snapping up homes there. Vancouver is a fairly low-key place otherwise, with a few companies. My suggestion would be to consider your future employment opportunities.
Neither one is perfect but I think you should look at where you want to work after you graduate and identify a list of 5-10 target companies and see where they are located and if they have connections to any of these 2 business schools.
