I would also vote ESMT. The school has really been improving over the years. If you don't speak a B2/C1 level of French, then you should not even ask yourself this question. Recruiting in France mainly depends on your language skills (and education/experience of course) but if you don't have that those skills then there will be very little English speaking jobs... And the Berlin start-up ecosystem is doing really well at the moment.
Good luck :)

Thanks for sharing your insights. Makes a lot of sense to me!

Congrats on your admits. I am not expert in MiM's and not very familiar with the rankings but ESMT seems a better choice in terms of being able to find a job without language skills... unless you speak French that is.

The issue with recruiting out of most of these programs is that you will be joining a junior management role at most companies and people you will be working with may not be bi-lingual and speak English so many companies will shy away from recruiting international students in France and potentially Germany, though Germany has had better luck attracting large companies. Amazon is opening up a new office in Berlin in 2022.

I feel better about Germany

Right, thanks for sharing these insights. Definitely helpful!

It is tough. I tried recruiting in Hong Kong and while many people speak English there, not everyone does and a surprising number of people does not speak a word of English or Mandarin (they speak Cantonese).... so it becuase pretty clear pretty quickly that I will be dead in the water recruiting there. Actually out of about 15 or 20 of us who were trying to score something or recruit in HK, only one person managed to find an internship and they were fluent with connections in the city.... so that was my foreign language lesson learned.

Good luck!
If you go to Germany or France, start studying the language. You will need it everywhere. Renting a place, shopping at a store, getting your paperwork, taking the bus, reading signs, you name it.

Hi, I am an international applicant from India and planning to pursue MIM in the 2022 fall intake. Currently, I have received admits for EDHEC MIM BM ($) and ESMT MIM ($) and am not able to decide between these two.

I want to know about the job prospects & the school's reputation in the job market of their respective countries. Also, which school would be better for strategy vertical jobs. It would be appreciated if you could touch upon other parameters such as living in France/Germany, expenses/cost of attendance and the School's entrepreneurial culture

P.S I have 1+ years of full-time experience working as an IT consulting analyst at Deloitte US-India and have a slight inclination towards entrepreneurship as well.

Thanks in advance
Berlin does have a greater number of English speakers than Lille, Nice, and Paris. You won't regret choosing ESMT for sure. Unless or until you want to explore France or you know the French language.
