Congratulations on your admits.
That’s a significant difference for the seemingly similar experience. Let me try to focus on differences as the result.
I think the biggest driver of this decision is how you’re planning to leverage your degree. Are you planning to stay where you are at right now or are you thinking of networking and changing jobs or how do you see your degree playing out? This is important because if you’re planning to stay with you employer, the more convenient and the cheaper is probably the better especially since traveling to San Francisco will take a toll on your productivity at work.
Also, if you are hoping and planning to stay in Seattle, and you’re planning to network, it makes sense for you to go to Foster where everyone will be from the local companies.
On the other hand, if you were looking to network into a new job, most likely that will be a referral from one of your classmates. They may refer you or they may even hire you. This is fairly common if they are staying with their employer. Also, going to the program in San Francisco, you were likely to have classmates from not only Seattle but also East Coast and Midwest and potentially South America or Asia. Orton has a very strong name. It makes sense if you are planning to have a global career or change continents. If you’re expecting to stay in Seattle, I think Foster may be a great local solution that will likely result into a stronger local Network.
