Hey Folks,
I was able to get admission offers from both Ross(20k/yr) and Tuck(15k/yr) as an international candidate with similar scholarships. Would like to get your thoughts on which way I should go:
Goals
- Plan A: Tech PM
- Plan B: MBB Consulting
- Location agnostic post-MBA: any US metropolis area would be fine
Ross
Pros
- Better tech outcomes with a larger network in tech
- Decently outcomes in MBB consulting
- Ann Arbour might have better quality of life compared to Hanover, though both are small towns
Cons
- Marginally weaker brand compared to Tuck
Tuck
Pros
- traditionally the stronger brand, maybe marginally
- Stronger in consulting
- Great alumni network
Cons
- Weaker tech outcomes
- remote Hanover location

Congrats on your admits!
I know a lot of people really like Tuck's tight community and it's alum network strength. You did not seem to have mentioned it as a part of your evaluation. If you are not considering those aspects, I would probably pick Ross since you will be bypassing most of the Tuck's unique value proposition.

I just let the tuck deadline pass by and went with Ross.
