I have got admits for Master of Quantitative Management (MQM): Business Analytics from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business,
and Master's of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) from the University of California, San Diego, Rady School of Management.
Both are great schools with their own benefits, but I am not sure which one should I go for..
Edit 1:
About me:
I have about 3 years of Work Experience in analytics and product management. I am looking to work in product consulting or some good tech role.
- Master of Science in Business Analytics - University of California, San Diego
Accepted its offer and paid 1500 USD. Scholarship 10000 USD. On-campus housing (paid). Duration: 11 Months. Estimated Total Cost of Attendance (USD): $92,978
- MQM: Business Analytic, Strategy Track - Duke University, Fuqua School of Business
Need to pay 3000 USD by next month to accept the offer. Scholarship 10000 USD. Off-campus housing (paid). Duration: 10 Months. Estimated Total Cost of Attendance (USD): $108,012
I have no financial constraints as such. My future goal is to do a job in the tech industry for 2-3 years preferably in the Bay area and then go for an MBA. The prestige of school is of great importance to me as well. As I am an international student, getting employed as early as possible is also a concern to pay back the loans.
I liked the curriculum, culture, and teaching style of Duke more but the only drawback is that Fuqua is less tech-oriented.
