I have recently got off the waitlist of McCombs and got an admit. Also they have offered me 40k scholarship. (Forte)
I already had an admit from scheller (R1) with full GRA( which covers full tuition). And Scheller has become stem from this year as well.
I am a Indian female engineer aiming to go for product management post mba.
Want some suggestions/advice on which b-school to go for.
Edit: Mccombs increased the scholarship amount by 10k. Now the scholarship amt is 50k

Hello Charu11111,
McCombs has several advantages including that of being higher ranked, located in the southern hub - Texas, and STEM! You also have some financial aid (even if it isn't as much as what Scheller is offering) so that should help.
Scheller has a much smaller class size in comparison; so, if you are a person who'd thrive in an environment more close-knit, then that is a priority you might want to consider.

That’s awesome you got a scholarship after a WL - that’s very helpful.
The big question is how much on campus recruiting you want to do and how much are you willing to pay?
At Scheller you will be recruiting off campus. With the program that’s only 50 people, you will have very little career resources or on campus recruiting. You’ll be fairly constrained with the alumni network. As the result, your recruiting will be you and your wits. With Macom‘s, your story is likely to be different since you can rely on Austin and local job market as well as the career resources and a large number of locally employed alums.
It is hard to beat a free MBA but it comes at a price.
