Hi. Congratulations on your admits!
Fantastic results. I have heard a lot of great things over the years about I am G then about 10 or so years ago, they almost sort of disappeared. It’s good to see the name again. I think it’s a unique and powerful program but I feel in your case Insead would be a stronger play.
Your Gmail‘s course should not come into consideration and the consulting recruiting. Years ago some recruiters did use the GMAT score for easy quantitative elimination but then I feel they realized the fallacy and the fact that if you get someone at a top MBA program with a low GMAT score, you are missing out on probably one of the best and most qualified applicants who just appears to have a low GMAT score. Siri radically, for a person with a lower GMAT score to get in, which I don’t think 690 is not that low but anyway, it means they have to be so much better than someone who got in with the 750.
Anyway, the point is your GMAT should not impact your consulting recruiting options. The main considerations will be your interview skills and your résumé to get that interview.
Insead is very focused on consulting and has a lot of alumni who are in consulting, significant consulting recruiting and prep groups for that recruiting.
You may be able to achieve similar or even better results over with IMD but statistically, INSEAD would be more predictable as a choice for consulting 😇
