Hi Priyanshu,
You have a diverse profile. Working on in-depth narratives for the essays would help. I help with the end-to-end admissions process. Do DM if you need help.

Priyanshugpt1 thanks for sharing the details

In the huge pool of Indian IT/Tech applicants, your profile stands out as being distinctive. Given your impressive accomplishments and the variety of roles pursued at such an early stage in your career, you strike as a promising individual. I see a lot of potential for powerful storytelling given your experience as a Business Development Manager in countries in Africa. You'll have a better chance of getting into one of the top 15-20 B Schools in the US if you give yourself some time to raise your GMAT score to a level of 740+. Although you haven't stated them, be sure your Post MBA goals reflect careful thought. You will receive high consideration from the Adcom if you can weave an engaging story, show leadership through examples, and exhibit a "can do" mentality through the many activities and ECs.
In Canada, with a well-executed application (and not necessarily an increased GMAT score) you can get into Ivey, Schulich and Rotman.

Best wishes

Hello,

I have scored a 700 on GMAT in my second attempt. I am an Indian male professional with 4+ years of total work experience with my graduation in electrical and electronics engineering. 2 years, out of the 4 years, i have worked in Africa (maybe bonus points for international experience).

I Wish to know my safest options for Stem MBA in US considering i come from a pool of category with large number of applicants. I will be applying in the second round for the fall 2023 semester intake.

Any Suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thank You!

Hi Priyanshugpt1,

Hope this finds you well.

The choice of schools will depend on your career goals; we will need to be a lot more specific about what we want to achieve in the short term and long term rather than saying a "significant jump in pay". Nonetheless, the international exposure is going to be extremely value adding so be sure to highlight the appropriately in your essays.

Assuming you are looking at a progression in the same field and manage to score upwards of 700, you could look at schools such Kelley and Questrom - not as "Safe" options but as feasible ones. They have STEM designated tracks.

Should you wish to discuss your prospects in greater detail, please feel free to get in touch with us.

All the best!

Hi Priyanshugpt1,
I understand your open-ness to career goals;
So, in very short, here's an analysis:
Given your lower GPA, a GMAT of 740+ may help you stretch your chances to Top 10
With your current GMAT, you may be looking at somewhere in the Top30-40 schools with scholarships.
