Hi,
I'm in a fix to decide which school should I choose between Manchester MBA (UK) and McMaster (Degroote) FT MBA?
I've worked in social impact sector (education sector) for the past 5+ years in teaching and education management initiatives. Although I plan to work in social impact consulting space post MBA but I'm quite open to working in for profit side for few years (need to pay off loans after all). I do want to work abroad (I'm an Indian) so both Canada and UK are good for me.
However, right now it's getting really difficult to choose between these two schools as one has a world wide recognised brand (Manchester) but UK market is getting worse plus I've education sector background so I don't know how will for profit firms look at my profile post MBA.
McMaster is a decent school within Canada (probably 10th-12th ranked in Canada) but not widely recognised outside Canada. However, it has good placement record (96% with avg salary 80K CAD) post MBA. I'm also going to take a loan so I don't want to come back immediately post MBA.
Experts, current students and alumni please guide me on this. The more I'm thinking the more I'm getting confused as to which should I choose. I've to decide in a week's time and pay a huge amount with no refund.
bb any thoughts?
