My Background:
Indian Chartered Accountant; 8 yrs of WorkEx in Consulting with 3 of the Big4s and currently with a US-based boutique Investment Banking firm working from India.
Initially was funding my own education, but my firm stepped up and offered to sponsor 100% of my tuition fees if I work for them for the next 3 years following my graduation. (They allowed me to leave them at any time before that 3 years window, but I have to pay them prorated, and I am fine with that as well.)
I like Babson's "Entrepreneurship" theme but am unsure if it has any material advantage. At the same time, Mendoza has a better overall ranking than Babson.
After getting accepted at Mendoza (Accepted from WL), I regret not applying to many other schools, thinking I might not make it to the list.
P.S. I have heard people saying that your location matters a lot to future employers, and many employers prefer to hire from their vicinity. This makes Babson more attractive than Mendoza because of its Boston location. But again, Chicago is not very far from Mendoza. Please comment if you have any take on this.

Congratulations on your admits.
Just to clarify, are you saying that Mendoza will be 15,000 cheaper or more expensive?
I would recommend checking your latest class profiles for Babson. A few years ago they had a huge number of international students and I think they realize that having 75% of the class from Asia was not beneficial for anyone…
PS. Will you be recruiting after business school? It sounded like almost not really… and I would say being sponsored is a great benefit. It makes the business school hours more enjoyable. You don’t have the insecurity and uncertainty all the other students do…
PS. Sorry for a dumb question, but what is the reason for getting an MBA? Are you looking for a promotion to your current position because of a glass ceiling of sorts?

Thank you, BB, for your guidance and tips. I wanted to do an MBA mainly because of all the reasons you mentioned and to open my doors to global opportunities and be accepted at higher positions in Investment Banking roles.
I finally accepted Mendoza because of its ranking, and after talking to various current students, it looks like I made the right decision.
I enjoyed the football season thoroughly and now looking forward to a beautiful and harsh winter season.
Even though I have a backup from my existing firm, I will still be recruiting to get a bigger firm and more challenging role and experience. Wish me luck.
