Hm... interesting question. I think the main question is how you plan to transition into the US?
Recruit cold with an H1B required? That's usually a tough proposition. It would be better/easier to attend a program in the US that gives you a 3-year work permit with STEM OPT....

Thank you for your answer !
The problem is that I'm currently in a gap year, I did 2 internships in Venture Capital and it was hard to find the time for the GMAT... that's why the Spanish B-schools were my priority.

Regarding the US transition, I'm not sure yet but I thought that I could pursue my education with another Msc with a specialization (in Finance or Entrepreneurship for example). I know that it's not common and it's a lot of money but I'm ready to take the risk... Does this seem possible?
Since it is already May, it is too late for me to take the gmat and apply to the American universities...

Hello all,

I recently had 3 offers from IESE, Esade and IE for their MiM (Master in Managment).
I'm really happy but it's really hard to make a choice... and I would
love to have your opinion.

From what I understood, IESE brand recognition is more important than Esade and IE, especially in the US.
But the MiM program is new and I don't really know what it's worth. It's also around 45k€.

IE Madrid looks good, but the fees are important and a lot of people are telling me that MiM selectivity is quite low. On the other hand, Esade is cheaper 33k vs. 43k) and seems pretty similar to IE but I have read that the Univ is not that well considered internationally.

Given that I want to continue on to an Msc in the USA to work there, do you think that the choice betwee these 3 schools makes a big difference? I know that US recruiters don't pay much attention to European schools.

Thanks for your help !

Hi hovahhhh hope this finds you well

Congratulations on the admits! If your objective is to get an MSc in the USA, I am unable to see how an MiM fits into your academic and professional journey. Generally, people tend to go for specialized sciences degrees first before they seek business management degrees. Also, it's really difficult to provide any advice without knowing your pre-MiM education and professional background. But overall, think about why you would want an MiM if you could directly apply for a US MSc program and save time and money.

Best wishes

Hi !! Thank you very much for your time !
As I said just before, I couldn't take the GMAT this year and it's too late to apply to the US univ.

My plan is to apply to another Msc with a specialization (in Finance or Entrepreneurship...) after the MiM in Spain. I don't know if it's realistic but I don't see any other option. For my background, I have a Bsc in Economics from France, and I did 3 internships as a CEO Right Hand in a scale up and in Venture Capital.

(By the way, do you have any opinion on the IESE MiM..?)
