I have secured admit from both and need some help in making the decision.

Asian background with consulting experience. Wish to move outside Asia and continue in consulting. Language is not a barrier.

jkhattar Many congratulations on the coveted admits :)

Both schools are prestigious. However, from my conversations with HEC students (Indian), consulting opportunities have been slow to develop this year, although if you have previous consulting experience, you may not feel as challenged as others trying to transition.
IESE, on the other hand, has emerged as the new consulting hotbed in the EU after INSEAD, and I have received positive reports about the student experience. And I agree with bb, no matter where you study in the EU, as a non-native speaker you would be targeting the UK market or other markets where English is widely accepted when hiring consultants, like Amsterdam or Berlin/Munich. However, if you are completely fluent in the local language, you will have advantage in industry focused corporate strategy roles, however breaking into top tier consulting like MBB can still be challenging. You should definitely speak to a handful of current and former students before making a final decision. You can also get in touch with career centers to discuss the consulting recruitment scenario.

Agreed with other comments! I am in a similar situation, and can suggest points to consider either of the schools.
First of all both schools are great, hence understand that no decision will be a wrong decision.
Second, it depends mostly on your post MbA goals. So if you would like to continue working in consulting, you should go with IESE. It definitely has edge in consulting over HeC and other EU B schools (after INSEAD and LBS). IESE has established great network in consulting over the past few years hence it will help you securing a job in one of those organisations . Also, in terms of Geo, especially as a non native, whatever your level of local language is, regardless it’s very difficult to secure a consulting job in EU (Berlin, Amsterdam maybe but won’t be easy either). The best option you will have will be UK (UK market is also very competitive nowadays) or ME . Hence if you are okay to move into that region and industry, IESE could be your choice.
However, other than consulting, HEC could have slightly better options. Also the probability of you landing a job in EU is higher.

According to your preferences, you may take a call

P.S. all of this is based on my research and conversations with alums and current students at both schools. Please validate with your research before basing your decision on this!

All the best!
