Hi all,
I am an Indian candidate holding a bachelor's degree in computer science. By the time I join the MBA program, I will have acquired 4 years of professional experience. My background includes roles in business development and marketing within the Fintech and E-commerce industries. I've had the opportunity to businesses in initiating their demand generation and ABM strategies for new products and have built these teams from scratch, contributing significantly to business growth and expansion into international markets.
I'm looking to transition to the consulting industry post my MBA, particularly, into the strategy/tech division. I've been accepted in
Maryland Smith, Fordham Gabelli, Pittsburgh Katz, and Rutgers. and I'd appreciate your input in t
1. Fordham - $90k Scholarship (tuition responsibility after scholarship- $34k + I may get GA/TA $3-5k per term)
2. Smith- 20K Scholarship + 2 year GA + Instate tuition/Additional -$20k + $16k Remission (Total scholarship - $65k including GA stipend)
3. Katz - 57k scholarship. I may receive GA/TA but it is not guaranteed.
4. Rutgers- $10K Scholarship
I spoke to a few Fordham students and they are proud of the Fordham brand and have good things to say about it, however, I don't see that translating into the MBA program Rankings. With Smith, I'm read a lot about less job opportunities for international students, however, it hold a better rank compared to Katz and Fordham.
Due to the lowest scholarship, I'm not considering Rutgers as an option. However, I am really confused between the other three(Fordham, SMith and Katz),. Please help me identify which would be a better choice for me to pivot to consulting industry as an international student.
