Duke MMS VS Kellogg (Mim)

Question

Hi all,

I am very grateful to receive an admit from both these prestigious schools. However, I am genuinely very confused as to which school to choose.

Can someone give any inputs or like which school would you’ll choose? If an alumni or current student then how has your experience been?

So I would like to get into management consultancy. (Small addition - I received scholarship at Kellogg. However, I want another strong reason to remove Fuqua from consideration)

For consulting it will not matter a whole lot… I know it is not super helpful 😂

Not sure if employment reports are available but the more people are placed the better… that means there are alums, recruiters and consulting clubs.

So is it safe to say course wise both are equally reputable? Because Duke has had this program for way longer but the Kellogg brand name is not to be taken lightly haha…I’m super happy and confused at the same time

Consulting companies will not look at your courses. Reputation is important but not the specifics.

But having an established program is more helpful as you can lean on the MMS alum group and employers know the program. This is the part that matters directly… sure Kellogg name is great but if Fuqua has employers come on campus, that’s what matters most.
