I have found myself in a great position to be in. I am looking to attend an Executive MBA program as the capstone of my educational career. I have looked at multiple programs that meet once a month in person to support my busy schedule. Between employer sponsorship and scholarships, Olin Business School's program would cost me nothing out of pocket. Fuqua would cost $38K out of pocket.
As a background, I am not yet 30, live in the midwest near Olin, and have a salary of >$160K a year.
My goal for getting an EMBA is to have the door wide open for me to move to executive leadership at my current employer, but also give me the flexibility to move to any company in the tech, defense, and IB world. Further, I would love the opportunity to adjunct at a reputable business school down the line. I have never had student loans, and I currently have a BS in Finance and an MS in Analytics.
What is the better choice? Albeit paying $38K for Fuqua, would the potential ROI be higher than if I attended WashU's program for no cost out of pocket?
Cheers!
