Congratulations on getting admitted today. Just a guess 😇
The Weeknd and part-time programs in general a hard to judge compared to full-time programs. In someway, you could say they should not be judged the same way because they are designed for different purposes.
Full-time program is designed to help you change career, jump levels and so on where is the part-time program is designed to help you leverage your existing work experience and existing network and often does not include any kind of recruiting component.
One reason is that it’s really hard to recruit when you have a full-time job, a part-time MBA program and recruiting on top of it.
So your best chance of recruiting will be networking with your classmates, networking with alumni and networking through your work and professional network.
Having said that, because of the caliber of talent in the bay area and really haas EW being one of a few part-time options that do not require flying (Wharton maybe now and Ross too in SF or that’s just EMBA?), this makes the program very competitive and very prestigious among FAANG employees. Things have been changing since the pandemic and going haywire in various directions but I would say historically this has been one of the most competitive part-time programs so you can consider this as a top three and definitely top five most competitive and best part-time programs.
