Hi I am a 24yo female from Northeast US. I work in healthcare right now and looking to transition into consulting (goal is MBB). I was accepted into Tuck with no scholarship and Fuqua with the Forte fellowship of $30,000 a year. Any advice?
My original thoughts were to go to Tuck because of the name. Thinking about the future and what happens if I don’t secure MBB which program will allow me better backup choices? Better network?
Also any insight on Forte fellowship? Is that a big deal? Is that a reason to choose Fuqua over Tuck for that network/recruitment opportunities?
Any insight and recommendations are welcome!

Congratulations on all of your multiple admits. That would suggest comparing them all perhaps rather than one by one.
I don’t think four days is going to help you to get into MBB. It’s a selective and arduous process of networking and recruiting and is designed to taking a pretty small number from the best of the best.
Not a forte fellow here, obviously, but I haven’t heard many people attribute their employment to the network. That may be just because I haven’t heard but it also maybe because it doesn’t happen so I would probably look at it as Tuck with zero scholarship and Fuqua with 30,000.
Both you quiet and talk have a decent healthcare interest in by decent I mean 5% or something like that but even those numbers are sizable for that industry.
Tuck will absolutely be the leader of the class building because of their remote nature but Fuqua is quite good as well.
I feel that if you can get into MBB at one school you should be able to make it at the other as well.
However, the tech network is really committed and dedicated. I’ve heard many stories over and over again of people, alumni, going out of the way to help so I I’m not sure how to quantify that but Tuck’s alumni network would be the strongest.
Tuck would be the best school for consulting, MBB as well as backup options as the result.

Both Tuck and Fuqua have strong consulting placements, but Tuck has a slight edge in MBB recruitment due to its tight-knit alumni network and reputation for placing well in consulting. However, Fuqua also sends many graduates to MBB and the $60K Forte Fellowship significantly reduces your financial burden. If MBB doesn’t work out, Fuqua’s broader industry placements, especially in healthcare and tech, may offer better backup options. The Forte network can also be beneficial for women in business. If finances are a concern, Fuqua is the safer choice; otherwise, Tuck remains a strong bet for MBB.
